Ingredients:
- 3 kg live crabs (alimango)
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 head garlic, mashed
- 5 thumbsize ginger, peeled and sliced
- 4 pcs finger chilies, sliced on an angle
- 2 large cans coconut milk
- 1 large can coconut cream
- 3 sachets 8g MAGGI MAGIC SARAP®
Directions:
- Place crab in a pot and barely cover with water. Bring to a boil, then cook for 2 minutes. Drain and set aside to cool. Separate the shell to remove the gills. Crack the claws and cut into serving pieces. Set aside.
- Combine garlic and oil in a large pan and saute for 1 minute. Add ginger and finger chilies, then saute for another minute. Pour in coconut milk, then simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add coconut cream and crabs. Simmer until sauce starts to thicken. Season with MAGGI MAGIC SARAP®.
- Check seasoning. Transfer into a serving plate and serve.

Those crabs look excessively agitated. Must be perfectly ripe! They appear to have been plucked from the crabtree at the perfect time

Well thats fantastic! looks magical, and i’m sure it delicious! My cousin Phil has a crabtree farm near Tulsa. Used to stop by now and then but with all the sinister cobras he keeps around there its pretty dangerous unless you bring iron pants with you.

That’s scary! Crab fishing is fun – last summer we went crab and salmon fishing at the Seaside, OR. Nothing beats Fresh crabs, it is very tasty

Agreed! Love seaside. I havent been to coastal oregon in some time but we get dungeness and king crab in our subsistence pots in alaska.

That’s awesome! I like the king crab, more succulent while the dungeness is good too but a bit more bland for me
